It all started with a basic Ninja Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream and blossomed from there realizing how simple it was to make.
Coffee Coconut Ice Cream (ninja Creami)
If you have a Ninja Creamer or are considering getting one, this coffee ice cream is a great place to start. Read the recipe below and you will see how simple it is. Just 5 ingredients and 5 minutes of time will give you great ice cream.
You’ll need to add the 24 hours necessary to refrigerate the mixture before mixing, so plan a day ahead. It’s still a faster way to make great ice cream.
There are two versions of Ninja Creamy, but I recommend going with the Deluxe as it adds more features and power.
Ninja Creami Butterscotch Ice Cream (sugar Free)
Heat the milk in a pan over low heat. Do not heat or boil this. Immediately add the coffee and stir until dissolved.
Add heavy cream, agave nuts, sugar and vanilla. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Make sure the mixture doesn’t get too hot. It should only be on very low heat.
Make an ice bath, place a pint in it and chill. Once completely cool, cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Check the ice cream when it’s done. It should be churned again to make a cream. Sometimes the mine is very powdery, but that can be easily fixed by re-rolling.

I believe this is because the mixture is too cold. If you let it sit for 10 minutes and stir again, it will be better mixed and creamy. However, the best way to handle this problem for me is to check it out immediately. The grid always solved the problem.
Ninja recommends adding a total of 1/4 cup of your favorite crushed candy, frozen fruit, chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or whatever toppings you like. You can mix and match as you like. I like to mix the top with 1/8 cup and then the bottom with 1/8 cup and the other mix.
The Deluxe Pint holds 3 cups, so you may have leftovers. Ninja recommends storing leftovers in a pint jar. Some treats freeze very well and need to be reheated to enjoy leftovers. If you move them to another container, you won’t be able to reproduce them.

There is no minimum fill line. Try to fill the pin at least halfway to the MAX FILL line to achieve the best output structure, but filling below this level will not damage the machine. Half-baking the recipe worked just fine for me.
