The best glaze for baked ham is honey, brown sugar or maple syrup. The salty taste of the ham and the sweetness of the melt complement each other well making this part of a unique and beautiful melt.
My glaze of choice is a combination of butter, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard (adds a nice flavor to the ham), and crushed garlic.
